About Mark Sorrell
I’ve taught mathematics, science, and computing for over 10 years in schools across Australia and the UK, and lecture Bachelor and Master of Teaching students at Tabor College. I hold a PhD in Mathematics and have published research in international journals.
I’m intimately familiar with the Australian Curriculum (Maths & Science), and my teaching focuses on using rich, meaningful tasks to help students understand why mathematics works—not just memorize procedures.
